Student Records Maintenance and Security Policy

1. Policy Statement
At My Homeschool Village, we are committed to maintaining and securing student records in a manner that protects the privacy and confidentiality of all students while complying with applicable laws and regulations. This policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for the maintenance, access, and security of student records.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all student records, regardless of format, maintained by My Homeschool Village. It includes records of current and former students, both in physical and electronic form, including but not limited to academic records, attendance records, health records, disciplinary records, and any other records pertaining to student activities.
3. Responsibility
The My Homeschool Village administration, faculty, and staff members share the responsibility for maintaining and securing student records in accordance with this policy. The designated person responsible for overseeing the implementation of this policy is the Owners, who will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding student records.
4. Maintenance of Student Records
4.1. Accuracy and Completeness: Student records shall be accurate, complete, and up to date. Any changes or updates shall be made promptly and accurately.
