Have you heard the term "It takes a Village to raise your kids?" Well we have seen the "VIllage" and we don't want it raising our children. So we created one.
My Homeschool Village was created by 2 homeschool moms who after 20 years of homeschooling wanted to create the kind of village they had always dreamed of raising their children in. But these two friends lived in different states, so they decided to create it online. Where other Families could join them to share resources, tips, ideas and even recipes.
They now have thousands of families part of their Homeschool Village where kids are meeting up for science fairs, Moms are doing retreats together, Dads are creating hands-on science experiments and Families are bonding through homeschooling and wholesome family activities.
They have created and organized resources for today's modern family to save them time, money and stress. Homeschooling is about the family not the curriculum, so they created a curriculum that supports, uplifts and educates the family unit both individually and collectively. Come be a part of My Homeschool Village where families are raising the greatest generation ever... Together!
Becky has been homeschooling her five children for over two decades. She initially didn't want to homeschool her kids, but she did want to keep the light in their eyes alive and shining. So she embarked on this journey, and years later when a stranger commented on the brightness in her children's eyes, she realized all of her efforts had paid off. Now it is her mission to help other mothers protect that childlike light in their own children, and she does this by uplifting and supporting them through their journey of homeschooling and motherhood. With the help of her business partner Heather and their supportive husbands, they have created a Homeschool Village where families can raise their children together safely and share resources. Because it still takes a village to raise a child.
Rebecca is a Public Speaker, Author, Co Business Owner and Cheerleader to All Homeschool Families.
Her proudest accomplishments are her 5 children and her relationship with her husband.
Heather homeschooled 4 children, one with special needs. It was looking for programs that didn't meet her high standards that Heather began creating her own so that her children could learn ALL that a child should learn. Not just the low standards set by Public School.
Having homeschooled and graduated two children, (including one that is on the Deans List with a 3.9 GPA in Elementary Education), her focus is on acquiring resources and tools for middle and high school-aged students, helping with transcripts, and the fun of teens & educating!
Heather spends her time helping homeschooling parents with navigating the homeschool world, teaching at her local co-op, creating new material and enjoying life as an almost empty nester... only 2 more to get graduated!!
